ANVIL reissues from THE END

The End Records is proud to announce its first 3 upcoming ANVIL reissues!

Anvil: Strength Of Steel is Anvil’s only US-charting album, reaching the Billboard 200 with its original release in 1987. The album includes the track “Mad Dog,” whose comedic music video received MTV exposure in late 80′s. It also includes “Wild Eyes,” a cover of 60′s Canadian rock trio The Stampeders

Anvil: Pound For Pound is the last recorded Anvil album featuring the band’s original lineup. Encyclopedia Metallum says of Pound for Pound: “This nine-tracker clangs noisily like the Anvil of old, the part-time aggressors, part-time goofballs that carved the underground metal map.”

Anvil: Worth The Weight is Anvil’s only release with Sebastian Marino on guitar replacing Dave Allison, and the band’s final album with Ian Dickson on bass. It was the only collection of new material released by Anvil between 1987 and 1997, and includes the track “Embalmer,” known before the album as an unreleased song entitled “Ball Breaker.”
